Just little Ahoy and Unicorns...WHAT???

It is Tuesdae on the blog and I wanted to show you two new lines in the shop!!  It is exciting.  I created these products for every mom, aunt and grandmother whom are crazy about the children in their lives.  Childhood has those moments of adventure and magic, where you can be anything your imagination allows.  I wanted to compliment that imaginations into adorable embellishments for those family members that want to capture that moent in time and recode those feelings of wild abandonment for years to come!

Here are sneak peek of the two lines, Ahoy and Unicorn and Rainbows!!!!

Beautiful Dream

Hey Cheeky Peeps:

It's Tuesday and I up on the blog today. I got so excited with this layout while you watch the video, I forgot to hit the record button!  (I think we all have had that case!)  But I just love how this turned out!

I created this layout with the Winter Flowers Mixed Media Mini, ephemra and flair.  I thougth this ouwld be a good chance to do one of the challenges over on the Facebook Group that Khristina Shared with us!

This particule one was so much because it was BINGO!  I picked my row and pulled together my products for this layout.  It came together rather quickly and beautifully!

I loved how dreamly it turned out.  I really enjoy how the focus is still on teh photo, but the clusters have their own beauty all on their own.  Check out the video for the full process and layout!

January Recipe Challenge

In case your creative juices weren't flowing enough, how about another fun challenge over on the Cheeky Studio Facebook Group? Because I'm a scrapbooker who also likes to cook, I thought I'd cook up a fun recipe challenge for you guys this month! There's a list of "ingredients" that you must include somewhere on your layout but you can also include other elements of your choice.

Here's the layout I came up with for this challenge. I thought the elements in the Cheeky Studio Valentine's Day 2018 main and mixed media kits were just perfect for this challenge! I used one of the Pocket Life cards as my 4x6 piece of paper, the beautiful flower ephemera for the flower ingredient, and the journaling spot sticker as my sticker.
I also used some of the flair and other ephemera pieces. And as you can see, I used a lot of the alpha die-cuts for my title. With how many other alpha sets can you create such a long title and then STILL have letters left over to create titles for other layouts? What a great value!
And from the mixed media kit, I sprayed that gorgeous Shimmerz spray in Vibez Don't Rain On My Parade on my white cardstock to create a background, I got one of the navy blue bows on there, and then I went a little sequins crazy.
But you see, this photo is of me and my two friends from when I studied abroad and we are really into The Golden Girls (hence the title of this layout, "Thank You For Being a Friend"). So when I think of The Golden Girls, I think of SEQUINS.
I'm so glad sequins are a thing in scrapbooking now.

Thanks for looking and make sure you head over to the Facebook group so you can play along! We'd love to see what you create!
Have a cheeky day!
Let's Play a Scrapbook Game!
Hi scrappy friends!
Hi, its Laurie again and have you visited the Cheeky Studio Facebook Group recently? There is a Bingo challenge up to get your creative juices flowing. Just use four in a row of the given elements on your scrapbook layout. I used the top row: stamping, patterned, paper, twine or ribbon, and gold.
This layout incorporates the Cheeky Studio Valentine's Day 2018 main kit and the sequins from the Valentine's Day 2018 mixed media kit. I kept to the white roses and navy flowers in the kit because I thought they played well together with the American Crafts patterned paper that I pulled from my stash.
Sneak Peek   Sneak Peek 2
As you can see, even though the Cheeky Studio elements I'm using are Valentine's Day-themed, they worked perfectly well for these photos of my mom and daughter. Any time you just need some gorgeous flowers or have any photos with a "love" theme (love between grandparents and grandkids, parents and kids, siblings, best friends, etc.), this is a kit you can use!

And you can get it for yourself by hopping over to the Cheeky Studio shop!
Happy scrapping and have a cheeky day!
Flipping A Sketch? What?

Hey Ckeeky Peeps:

It's Miranda and I am up on the blog today and of course I have a process video for this crazy hot mess of a gorgeous layout.  I decided to use Heather's Sketch for January but flipped it for this layout!

I decided to use the Valentine's Day Mixed Media Kit and Wildflowers 1 and 2. I wanted to make it look like a "dad's layout" with a touch of girly!  The meaning behind the layout was based off a book I was reading at the time.  Kaelynn, my daugher, will always be a daddy's girl.  I went to pinterest and found this saying.  I just had to use it.  My title is "I'll Always Be Daddy's Girl" and I just love it.  Here is little sneek peak of the layout!!

Lil' Hands & Feet
Greetings, Cheeky friends!
It's Laurie here on the blog today to share with you a layout I created using some of those gorgeous Cheeky Studio Wild Flowers embellishments. I am having so much fun creating different clusters of flowers and combining the flowers and leaves from both the Set 3 and Set 4 Wild Flowers packs that I received in my design team kit.
Today's layout is of my daughter with her Geoffrey the Giraffe stuffed animal. And the journaling is a poem that someone gave me that's all about how little kids may be messy when they're little, but we better enjoy these moments because too soon these kids will not be messy because they will be grown up and out of the house! :(
FLower Cluster
I did a little mixed media on the background with green embossing powder and a stencil, and I simply wrote the poem on strips of paper and adhered them around the picture. And some of the sequins that Tuesdae included with her Christmas card in my design team kit made its way onto the patterned border at the bottom of my page for some added sparkle.
I added two clusters of the Wild Flowers in both corners of my picture, and I placed an additional little flower in the top right corner of my page.
Flower Cluster2
I've been so impressed with how versatile these flowers are. I'm finding that the colors are matching up well with many of the papers in my stash, and they are creating just the right complement to my layouts!
I know they can do the same for yours, so head on over to the shop and get some for yourself!

Mixed Media Friday

Hey Cheeky Peeps:

It's Miranda and Tuesdae on the blog today!  We have started doing Mixed Media Friday, where we wil take the Mixed Media Kits from Cheeky Studio.  This series will be twice a month on Friday's show casing the kits.  This week, we are using the Valentines Day Mixed Media Kit and all of the other goodies. Our theme for the Month of January is "New Beginnings" and we decided to do layouts for our Fitness Goals for 2018.

I decided to take  one of my favorite memories while in Germany to showcase my focused goals on Weight Training in 2018.  I decided to follow a sketch for inspiration and really loved how it turned out!   I did a small title called Favorite Memories and tied it into my journalling; while main title is Focused.  The products I used is Alphas, Sequences, and Emphemera Pack 2 for this Layout!

Enjoy the full process by checkying out the video on my channel!  Please use my code Miranda10 for all your puchases to receive 10% off

Tuesdae took little different route on her layout today and I just love how it turned it out as well!!!  Tuesdae did a large cut file with clear gesso all over the backgroun and then brought in a Chevron stencil to add texture with some heavy Gesso.  I wanted to get messy and have fun with this one.

Fitness is a passion of mine and I wanted to share my feelings of playfulness in teh gym on this layout.  I feel like a kid when I am there.  I used prodcuts from stash and CHeeky Studio.  Tuesdae felt it all worked so well together and brought the layout to life!

Enjoy the full process by checking out Tuesdae's video on her channel!

We hope you enjoy our first Mixed Media Friday and check back to see what we do next

Fifteen Years

Hey Cheeky Friends:

It is Sarah again!  I am up on the blog today and I wanted to capture our 15 year wedding anniversary using the Valentines Day Collection from the shop.

15 years

15 years

I wanted to concentrate on the die cuts in the beautiful Valentine's Day kit. The color combination is stunning! I made sure to use the beautiful alphabet die cuts for my title. I love how unique each letter is. For the embellishments, I layers up die cuts to create dimension and interest and create little clusters of multiple die cuts. I love the look of a floral cluster peeking out from behind the photo!
