Travelers Notebook Cutie

Cheeky Chick Natalie from the design team here! This is a spread I made for my travelers notebook that I'm putting together for my daughter. I used lots of pieces from the various Wild Flowers ephemera packs, along with some papers from my stash.  I even used a journaling spot from the Cheeky Studio Wishes collection. I love how it all works together.

I would love for you to join my instagram to see all of the design team projects that I make.  You can find me here: Instagram for Natalie

Taking Note in Spain

Good morning friends!

I'm sharing my notebook pages today with the adorable Notebook Nancy from the amazing July 2018 Cheeky Studio Kit Club.  What's not to love?  What was used?  Well what wasn't used is a better question!

To start with, I have covered both sides differently, one with the We Are Memory Keepers paper and the other from Amy Tangerine, both in the kit.  Cutting an adjoining circle then reversing the papers totally changed the page. The two pictures are the same.  Tne smaller and in black and white were taken in Albox, Spain in 2009.  I made a heart from gesso, then mounted it on a card.  Adding layers, tags, ephemera, and florals made it easy to pull together the photos by playing off of the pinks and yellows in the kit. The Maggie Holmes thread bows are fabulously different and work well with the pages, as does the chipboard from My Minds Eye from my stash.  I hope you like them! #cheekystudio  #getcheeky #inspiredbymemories

Enjoying the Journey

According to Cheeky Chick Laurie Leahey, "just because the October kit is all about books, you can still use it to scrap non-book things!" DT member Laurie used the floral ephemera pieces, exclusive frames, and patterned paper for this vacation layout.

The background paper in the kit provided the perfect neutral background for Laurie to use on her vacation moment.  She added splashes of color from her scraps and used the ephemera, the enamel dots and the exclusive frame to make the photo the centerpiece of this layout.  Sequins from the shop added that exactly bling to finish it out.  Check out Laurie on her blog at

She even has some BookExpo Reviews on her Youtube Channel here:  Cook Scrap Craft Reads BookExpo  We think she is pretty special so we gave her a discount code to share with you all for 10% off in the shop!  Just use Laurie10 and let's get cheeky!!!!

Scrapbooking is a way for us to capture memories of our loved ones through the years.  We believe Natalie from our Cheeky Chicks made a great example of this on her layout about her mother.

Check it out!

Hello, Cheekies! Here's my design team make for today. I used Midnight Florals to decorate this page. The two photos are of my mum holding my two children when they were babies - same person, same place, same pose, different babies three and a half years apart! There's a process video on YT too. xxx

Uniquely You

Hi friends hope everyone is happy & scrapping!

I love the papers in the July kit using the Sweet Succulents Ephemera.  It is gorgeous!  I've used one of the papers as my base and after  I used gesso, I splashed with lime green paint. Then, I roughly stenciled some black script writing and thats it!  I've cut and layered some squares from most of kits papers to create a random layer effect to compliment this amazing ephemera.  I also used the Cut Apart Labels that came in the kit to add a special touch. Sequins finished it off and I'm all done. #getcheeky #cheekystudio  Use code JULIE10 to get a 10% discount on orders in the shop at
