Gotcha!

Hello! It's me: Natalie!  For today's design team project, I've used the July kit from Cheeky Studio to create this 12x12 layout featuring a photo of my daughter caught in the stocks on holiday a few years ago. I had a lot of fun putting it together and love how the round journaling spots work so well with the circles from the cut-aparts.

Taking Note in Spain

Good morning friends!

I'm sharing my notebook pages today with the adorable Notebook Nancy from the amazing July 2018 Cheeky Studio Kit Club.  What's not to love?  What was used?  Well what wasn't used is a better question!

To start with, I have covered both sides differently, one with the We Are Memory Keepers paper and the other from Amy Tangerine, both in the kit.  Cutting an adjoining circle then reversing the papers totally changed the page. The two pictures are the same.  Tne smaller and in black and white were taken in Albox, Spain in 2009.  I made a heart from gesso, then mounted it on a card.  Adding layers, tags, ephemera, and florals made it easy to pull together the photos by playing off of the pinks and yellows in the kit. The Maggie Holmes thread bows are fabulously different and work well with the pages, as does the chipboard from My Minds Eye from my stash.  I hope you like them! #cheekystudio  #getcheeky #inspiredbymemories

Enjoying the Journey

According to Cheeky Chick Laurie Leahey, "just because the October kit is all about books, you can still use it to scrap non-book things!" DT member Laurie used the floral ephemera pieces, exclusive frames, and patterned paper for this vacation layout.

The background paper in the kit provided the perfect neutral background for Laurie to use on her vacation moment.  She added splashes of color from her scraps and used the ephemera, the enamel dots and the exclusive frame to make the photo the centerpiece of this layout.  Sequins from the shop added that exactly bling to finish it out.  Check out Laurie on her blog at http://cookscrapcraft.blogspot.com/.

She even has some BookExpo Reviews on her Youtube Channel here:  Cook Scrap Craft Reads BookExpo  We think she is pretty special so we gave her a discount code to share with you all for 10% off in the shop!  Just use Laurie10 and let's get cheeky!!!!

Hurrican

A fun traveler’s notebook layout about my sweet Sophia’s fascination with water! She absolutely loved this hurricane experiment that her big sister made for her! These gorgeous florals from Cheeky Studio are the perfect watercolored accent!  Check out my video here:

Fabulous Friends

My latest Cheeky Studio process video is up. I used one of the exclusive papers from the September Kit combined with some of the packaging to create today’s layout. It features two photos in an arrangement that I rarely do.  Click here to watch: Fabulous Friends

G'ma

Scrapbooking is a way for us to capture memories of our loved ones through the years.  We believe Natalie from our Cheeky Chicks made a great example of this on her layout about her mother.

Check it out!

Hello, Cheekies! Here's my design team make for today. I used Midnight Florals to decorate this page. The two photos are of my mum holding my two children when they were babies - same person, same place, same pose, different babies three and a half years apart! There's a process video on YT too. xxx https://youtu.be/UDeZOWpYUL4

Uniquely You

Hi friends hope everyone is happy & scrapping!

I love the papers in the July kit using the Sweet Succulents Ephemera.  It is gorgeous!  I've used one of the papers as my base and after  I used gesso, I splashed with lime green paint. Then, I roughly stenciled some black script writing and thats it!  I've cut and layered some squares from most of kits papers to create a random layer effect to compliment this amazing ephemera.  I also used the Cut Apart Labels that came in the kit to add a special touch. Sequins finished it off and I'm all done. #getcheeky #cheekystudio  Use code JULIE10 to get a 10% discount on orders in the shop at https://cheeky.studio

Play On

The Easter 2018 ephemera pack really lent itself to the soft cascade that Natalie wanted to create on this 12x12 layout. The blues worked perfectly with the patterned paper she chose. Use her code natalie10 for 10% off your @cheeky.studio orders.

Cards! Cards! And Cards!

I thought I would make something different whilst waiting for new supplies so heres 3 greetings cards using the last of some of the collections.

Card 1 is a unisex birthday card I've used scraps for inside the card and the Wishes Collection to decorate the inside and outside. Stamp for happy birthday with ink and finally I have surrounded the outside of the heart cutout with pale pink pearls.

Card 2, for this fun trifold card I have used the Wild Flowers Collection.  The cut out was on my Silhouette and the flowers were decorated with tiny bling flowers. Inside is again covered with scraps along with more ephemera  and a few butterflies from the Panda-monium ephemera too.

Card 3, Finally this adult friends card I used oxblood colored card and then a silver die cut wreath to outline the circle. The fabulous Wishes ephemera comes into play again being the perfect choice along with some star bling and a stamp friends for life.
